Welcome to Northeastern University!  This required orientation for new graduate students is designed to help you have a seamless start to your graduate journey. Through six engaging modules, you will explore Northeastern’s history, mission, and values. We will guide you through essential academic resources, including libraries and support services like CATLR and Global Learner Support.

You will learn to navigate the academic calendar, register for courses, and use the student portal. We will introduce you to co-op programs, career services, and emphasize academic integrity and professional communication.

Beyond academics, we prioritize your well-being with insights into campus safety, health services, and resources for mental health and crisis management. You will also learn about our commitment to diversity and inclusion, and how to get involved in student life, clubs, and events. Additionally, we will help you with financial planning and practical living tips, especially if you are new to Boston.

This orientation is your gateway to becoming a thriving member of the Northeastern community, whether in Boston or a Global Network.

New students are automatically enrolled in the University Orientation through Canvas, where you can access the full course.
